Andean Music in Cusco

In the Andes, music is a very important part of traditional cultural expression, which is still practiced in different communities to this day. It is an integral part of daily life for the people of the Andes, which is why our walking tours intentionally incorporate it into the experience. Spending time in the luthier shop and witnessing ancestral forms of musical expression will transport you to Incan times. Participants will even have the opportunity to try out traditional instruments, an experience that is sure to bring out that inner musician! We incorporate instruments from the pre-Inca, Inca, colonial and current times.
