The Ausangate 7 Lagoons Tour is a trek that begins in the small village of Pacchanta, located in the Cusco region of Peru. During the journey, you will have the opportunity to explore the foothills of the Ausangate mountain range, famous for its stunning mountain landscapes and traditional Andean culture.

The trek includes a moderate hike to the 7 lagoons, allowing you to appreciate breathtaking views of turquoise lakes surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Additionally, during the main trek, you will pass through high mountain landscapes, glaciers, hot springs, and traditional Andean villages.

1° 4:45 am Hotel Pickup

We will pick you up from the establishment where you are staying as long as it is located in the historic center.

2° 7:30 am Arrival at the village of Pacchanta

Arrival at the village of Pacchanta, where a typical Andean breakfast will be served.

3° 8:30 a.m. Start of the 07 Lakes route.

We will begin the 4-hour trek to the 07 lakes.

4° visiting the following lakes

Puka Cocha: Also known as the Red Lagoon, it is one of the most impressive lakes on the tour. Its reddish color is unique and is due to the presence of minerals in the water. The lake is surrounded by imposing snow-capped mountains and an impressive rock formation. It also has a small waterfall that feeds it, making it a perfect spot for photographs.

5° 1:00 pm Lunch of typical food in the community of Pacchanta

We will enjoy a buffet lunch (vegetarian and vegan options available) in the town of Cusipata.

6° We will return to Cusco from pacchata at approximately 4:00 pm.

We will return to Cusco in an approximate 3-hour journey, concluding at your hotel.

7° 7:00 p.m.: Approximate arrival in Cusco.
